Concentrated aroma's of ripe cherries, cured meats and earthiness abound in this light, savoury wine, oaked for 10 months in 30% new barrels. A great partner for duck, venison and Burgundian cheeses.
Ample, well-crafted, dense. Harmonious oak note (12 months) and fine-grained tannins. Intense aromas of red berries, liquorice, cocoa and vanilla. Delicious with grilled or sauced red meats.
Enjoy this dark, ruby coloured wine with pheasant, poultry, and classic cheeses like Epoisses. Aromas of red berry, spice, vanilla and a generous, well-balanced wine are partly due to French oaking for 14 months.
