Domaine de Bel Air
Our pride and joy... a very special and unique wine made in Beaujolais by Jean-Marc Lafont, Kristian and two other friends. Wooded in 1st, 2nd and 3rd fill Bourgogne barrels. Nicely spicy aromas, with hints of cherries and clove. Not overwhelming in the mouth, but rather gently spicy, with a definite fruity appeal. More northern Rhône styled. We were suprised and delighted !

Lean and savoury, this Syrah is lighter-styled - less overtly spicy, more softly gentle fruity. Still robust and perfectly balanced, its berry and underbrush flavours leave a pleasurable finish.

Lammershoek Winery
The vineyard is farmed organically and is dry-land. The soil is decomposed granite and yields 4t/ha. After rough sorting, the grapes were fermented in large, open-top concrete fermenters and any crushing was done by foot. The grapes were allowed to finish malolactic fermentation in old 225L casks for 11 months. The wine was blended into a large concrete tank where it stayed for another 7 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Note the wine's vibrant violet / raspberry hue, and its garrigue

Red Wine
Did you know that at Paradisi you can find 128 red South African white wines? Yes, that’s right… ranging from Cabernet Sauvignon, to Merlot, to Syrah, to Cabernet Franc, to Grenache, to blends and combinations to…!
Every week and weekend a bottle of wine is open for tasting, and we regularly hold tasting evenings – subscribe to our mailing list if you would like to be kept up to date.
White Wine
Our favourite white grape is Viognier, a grape with unknown origins.
In 1965, it was almost extinct! Fortunately it is now grown all over the world, in sunny places, and is made into a white wine with character.
Its aromas encompass white peaches, apricots, violets, almonds, honey, pears and exotic fruit.
Rose Wine
It is just about time to no longer think about rosé wines, as we head into deep autumn and winter.
Rosé wine is produced from black-skinned grapes which are crushed, and then the skin is left in contact with the juice for a short period only.
Rosé wines are delicious on summer days, and a wide variety of grape and quality are available.
